Car batteries are not one size fits all, and guessing is how people end up making two trips. The number to know first is the group size, like the 35 on the battery in the photo below. Group size sets the outside dimensions and where the posts sit. A battery that is too tall can touch the hood. One that is too small will not hold down properly. If the posts are on the wrong side, the cables may not reach. Two batteries can carry the same power rating and still be wrong for your car.
After size comes power. Cold cranking amps, or CCA, is printed on most labels and tells you how much current the battery can push on a cold start. You want at least what your car calls for. Then look at the post style, because most batteries have top posts but some cars use side posts, and the two are not interchangeable. Last is the battery type, since cars built around an AGM battery should stay on one. Miss any of those and the battery may fit, sort of, and still give you trouble.
That is why we ask for the year, make, and model up front. The same model can take a different battery depending on the engine, so include that if you know it. If you can read the label on your old battery, text us a photo, since the group size and CCA are usually right there. Keep in mind the battery in the car now may not be the right one to begin with. We confirm the correct battery before we ever head your way, and you get a clear price before we roll out.
“If I could give 20 Stars I would. Carlos is so professional and he did a wonderful job. He had the battery I needed, came out and changed it got the car to start right up. Thank you so much for your service. I will definitely use you again & again. Also, his communication is AMAZING!”
It is the standard size code for a battery. It sets the dimensions and where the posts sit, and it is usually printed right on the label.
Usually, but not always. Someone may have put the wrong one in before you owned it, so we go by your year, make, and model too.

Clicking, slow cranking, or dim lights usually point that way. Tell us what the car is doing and we'll help you figure it out before you buy anything.
Many of the batteries we carry come with a manufacturer warranty. Ask about the one for your vehicle and we'll walk you through it.
Your year, make, and model, where the car is parked, and what it's doing. That's all we need to get you sorted.
